**Men's Medium Waist Tip: If you are taller than 5'9", you want to get the Medium-Long size.  If you are 5'9" or shorter, the Medium will be fine.

Belt Loops

Although you don’t need a belt to hold up your kilt, we’ll be glad to add ’em so you can wear your favorite belt.

Belt loops can also be used to thread your sporran “chain-belt” through. This is the traditional use of belt loops on a kilt.

Please note: We cannot accept returns for customized goods, i.e., belt loops, sewn pleats, custom length. Please measure carefully!

Pockets

Now you can have us add 2 hidden side pockets to your Sport Kilt. You won’t even know they’re there unless you’re looking for them, or you’ve got your hands in your pockets.

A great custom option for those that have to have pockets on their kilts!

Please allow us a couple of days to customize your kilt with pockets before your order ships.

Custom Length *

Use a measuring tape, instead of using your pant size. This will determine your waist measurement.

The ideal kilt length: While kneeling, measure from the top of your waist (where you'd wear your kilt) to the floor. Some say your kilt should just brush against the ground when you are kneeling. Of course personal preference is the rule! Have it YOUR way.

Note:  Ultimate and Commando kilts tend to sit higher on the waist (more like a traditional kilt) than our standrard Sport Kilts. Therefore, you may want to add an extra inch or two in length to compensate. If in doubt, be assured that ninety five percent of the time, our standard size Medium-long, large, XL, abd XXL length of 22.5 inches will fit most guys 5' 10" and 6' 2" tall.

Description

“The Works Kilt”  is our world-famous Sport Kilt with three custom options already included: Sewn Down Pleats,  Leather Buckle Straps, and Fringed front panel edge.

The material is the same great Sport Kilt poly-blend (no itch!) fabric with superb “swing” and “drape”.Non-wool and holds a crisp pleat well. 

Each also features our original velcro closure, and elastic in the waistband for comfort and fit, with just a bit of give. Each includes a inside stash pocket 5×6″ behind the front panel.

Please allow about 3-5 days to complete, plus shipping time.  Longer than standard length kilts are made from scratch, and can take up to 2-3 weeks to complete.

Please note: Since this is a custom made garment, generally we cannot accept returns or exchanges, unless we make a mistake. However, we want everybody to be happy with their kilt, so let us know if you have sizing issues once you receive your kilt.  Please measure carefully.  If you need a longer length kilt, or a larger model than what we offer online, feel free to call in your order to 1-800-451-KILT.

    Way too big
    Did all the measurements just exactly how they said and ordered accordingly. Once the kilt arrived it was WAY TOO BIG AROUND THE WAIST. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough time to send it back for a replacement so now I am stuck with something I probably won’t wear again because it is too big.

    Firefighter Kilt is Hot
    I recently purchased the Firefighter kilt and have nothing but praise about it. The fit is perfect,the quality of the marksmanship is wonderful and it just plain rocks!! The only complaint I have is about the cost of the shipping; It was sent in a flat rate Postal Service box that costs about $12.00 to ship, I was charged just a little over $23.00 for shipping. Everything else was excellent though, I will definatly purchase another kilt from Sport Kilt. Great company, great product, fast shipping. Good Job !!!

    Excellent Service!
    I purchased a Works kilt in the Firefighter Tartan. I needed a 24″ hem. The turnaround time from ordering to receipt for this customized kilt was less than 2 weeks! There was an issue with sizing, so I called and they said send it back, we’ll let it out. And they did! Just as fast as the original order. This is a great kilt, and a great company with which to do business. Very likely I’ll order again from these folks. And I don’t say that about every kilt vendor I’ve done business with. But these folk are very good, and they have a great product. Thanks, Sport Kilts staff!
