Many prefer to use a sporran hanger vs a sporran belt and chain (Sporran hangs from belt). They feel that it is more comfortable and keeps from smashing the pleats across the sides. This is true, particularly for beefier guys.
Easy to use: The harness leather straps snap around the belt and will fit all belts up to about 2.5 inches wide. If you need a wider one, please let us know when ordering.
The length of the chain can be easily adjusted for the perfect fit by removing a link or two, if needed.
Sporrans are sold separately.
Not too much more to add. The sporran hangar works as advertised. Being a big guy, the traditional sporran belt doesn't work well for me.
I just bought a set of these and they fit perfectly on my traditional Scottish kilt. For a sport kilt you may want to remove some of the chain links (not a big deal). These hangers will save your kilt from "chain burns" .
The best/most comfortable way to wear a sporran with a belt. Easy to use and hangs well.
Did a great job holding up my sporran. Easy to use and works great. A must have for the sporran owner. GO BIG RED!!
The sporran hanger allows my sporran to hang from my belt as opposed to having a separate belt like device around my waist. I find the sporran hanger to be much more practical to my needs. It's a really good accessory to have and provides a great way for me to wear my sporran.
have not had a chane to use them however it was what i was looking for and service from sport kilt the best
I like to keep my sporran loaded with my favorite whisky and sometimes the chain likes to pull and knot up. This hangs on to your belt and can handle more weight.
quick and easy to use; my son prefers it over the traditional sporran belt
WORE IT ON MY FAVORITE SPORRAN TO THE HIGHLAND GAMES IN CHATHAM,ILLINOIS ON 05-21-2011,WORKED BETTER THAN THE STANDARD CHAIN AND STRAP,WORKS GREAT WHEN TOSSING THE CABER AND THROWING THE HAMMER,BEST THING EVER!!!!
I found the chains on the hanger were a little bit too long. The sporran hangs a little lower than I wanted it to. I shortened the chains and now it is just right.
