Description
“The Works Kilt” is our world-famous Sport Kilt with three custom options already included: Sewn Down Pleats, Leather Buckle Straps, and Fringed front panel edge.
The material is the same great Sport Kilt poly-blend (no itch!) fabric with superb “swing” and “drape”.Non-wool and holds a crisp pleat well.
Each also features our original velcro closure, and elastic in the waistband for comfort and fit, with just a bit of give. Each includes a inside stash pocket 5×6″ behind the front panel.
Please allow about 3-5 days to complete, plus shipping time. Longer than standard length kilts are made from scratch, and can take up to 2-3 weeks to complete.
Please note: Since this is a custom made garment, generally we cannot accept returns or exchanges, unless we make a mistake. However, we want everybody to be happy with their kilt, so let us know if you have sizing issues once you receive your kilt. Please measure carefully. The Hunting Works Kilt came in perfect condition! I’m actually non-Scottish, but got the kilt because my best friend wanted me try some! Found Sport Kilt as a reputable vendor and decided to get the Hunting Works as my first kilt! The quality and feel is great, I just love the movement kilts can give versus my usual go to of jeans. I think next time I’ll go a bit smaller on the waist and length though!

This is my first kilt and all I can say is “WHY HAVE I NOT WORN ONE BEFORE NOW”??? They’re amazing, super comfy, look awesome and give you maximum freedom of movement. I use mine for hiking and some functional/strength training and I’m SO glad I took the gamble. The fabric is light and overall the kilt is really well put together. I’ve got a hiking kilt on the way too so can’t wait. Definitely will be back for more. The sizing is great (I’m a short-ass so got a 21″ drop) and the waist has heaps of adjustability. I’m a 32″ pant but 35″ at stomach and this can cinch in to fit like a glove! LOVE IT!!!

The “works kilt” is an excellent value, with all the bells and whistles included. Being able to customize the length was a double bonus play…. I knock around the place in this AND hit the town in it equally well. I’m now an addict, this is my 2nd SportKilt and there WILL be more, lol!

Great memory to this fabric
I really like this as an informal kilt for family holiday get togethers as well as running to the store for an errand. The feel of the fabric is top notch. I should have gotten a size bigger. Even though the kilt is adjustable on the waist, the side straps and pockets look a little distorted when I have it adjusted for those times I need to let it out a little more!

i got my kilt early last summer, and i was immediately impressed. it looks similar to a wool kilt, but it certainly doesnt feel like one, its considerably lighter and obviously not as scratchy.
i dont wear mine “traditionally” but i have worn a wool one in such a way. NOT fun. for those who do, id say this is a cheaper and more comfortable way to go.
like i said, i was impressed and i still am! good job, sportkilt!

Excellent Experience
The Universal Hunting “Works Kilt” arrived and I am very pleased. The quality is excellent and the fit is perfect. I recommend that everyone read and follow your suggestions on sizing. My only regret is that you don’t offer more of the traditional Scottish tartans in your kilts. Maybe you should try occasional runs of different clans you haven’t done.
