Quality vs Cost
I had ordered these flashings because the other company I ordered from hadn’t got replenished yet. I ended up getting both flashings at the same time and found that the Sport Kilt ones were good except for the tips and the length of the strips were uneven and curling to the side. The elastic bands and clasps are nice and sturdy. These were cheaper by $7, compared to the other brand, and the other brand was not a sewn style. If you are trying cut costs wherever you can, these are good.

Garter Flashes
These garter flashes are a great improvement over those I wore for years in the highland infantry (Black Watch). We used to use clear nail polish on the tape ends to stop fraying but yours are sewn hem-like ends which never need re-cutting. I also really like the quick easy closure clips. No fumbling around. These are a good product and should be introduced into the highland regiments.
