Use a measuring tape, instead of using your pant size. This will determine your waist measurement.
The ideal kilt length: While kneeling, measure from the top of your waist (where you'd wear your kilt) to the floor. Some say your kilt should just brush against the ground when you are kneeling. Of course personal preference is the rule! Have it YOUR way.
Note: Ultimate and Commando kilts tend to sit higher on the waist (more like a traditional kilt) than our standrard Sport Kilts. Therefore, you may want to add an extra inch or two in length to compensate. If in doubt, be assured that ninety five percent of the time, our standard size Medium-long, large, XL, abd XXL length of 22.5 inches will fit most guys 5' 10" and 6' 2" tall.
Please Note: We cannot accept returns for customized goods, i.e., belt loops, sewn pleats, custom length. Measure carefully, please!

O.k, this is not a review, (I gave that 3 months ago when I got my USA.)
The other day, in a McDonald’s, some random redneck Scot descendant asked what gave me the right to wear any tartan. I explained that this USA/ St. Andrew was an open tartan, and anyone can the red, white and blue proudly. He said patriotism was why he would NOT wear it.

On a Summer vacation for a week at Cape Cod,,we went out for dinner nightly wearing the USA kilt and Polo shirts in red,,white,,blue,,+ black,,,all with matching socks a different color each night,,,Casual ,,yet dressy enough for all of the restaurants ,,,,Got a lot of compliments from the Ladies,,and few from the Gents too…..The Polo shirts all had a Military patch on the left chest & my sporran had the US Army emblem on the flap. My Glen Garry had the Army emblem & an Irish hackle attached,,,and even “The Bears” in Provincetown liked the look,,haha,,,Thanks Sport Kilt

I love my Sportkilt. Its my go-to hiking attire. I do wish that I had gotten the sewn down pleats option, as its makes for a MUCH nicer appearance in my opinion.
