Sewn Down Pleats

extra stitching added to the pleats to make it look more formal, and lay flatter across the backside.

Belt Loops

Although you don't need a belt to hold up your kilt, we'll be glad to add 'em so you can wear your favorite belt.

Belt loops can also be used to thread your sporran "chain-belt" through. This is the traditional use of belt loops on a kilt.

Please note: We cannot accept returns for customized goods, i.e., belt loops, sewn pleats, custom length. Please measure carefully!

Fringe

Now you can have the opening side of your Sport Kilt fringed for extra flair!

Buckle Closure

You can add two 1" wide black leather straps and nickle-plated buckles to the opening end of your Sport Kilt. A functional, traditional looking adjustable double strap.

While all Sport Kilts are secured with Velcro at the waistband, you can give your kilt that custom look (and added security) by adding buckles and straps.

Also note: If you opt for the Buckles and straps, we HIGHLY recommend adding the sewn-down-pleats option as they compliment each other.

Also, it is best to hand wash (or dry clean) your kilt with leather straps.

Youth Kilt – to fit ages 5 to 7 years old (mostly).
For waist sizes 25-30 inches. Length is 14 inches.

Machine washable, poly blend material soft enough for sensitive skin; adjustable elastic waistband with a velcro closure for adjustability and room for growth. Made in the USA!

    Awesome buy
    I purchased a kilt in a youth size for my 6 year old. He loves it!! He commented on how comfortable it is. It was affordable and will allow him some room to grow.

    Wonderful Customer Service! Probably fits Child size Medium and up.
    I originally ordered the youth kilt for family pictures since my son was between the two sizes (toddler and youth). I gambled and bought the bigger one (he wears a 5T or size 4/5 or XS). The youth ended up being too big and I knew the toddler would be a better fit for his current size. By the time we received the kilt and he tried it on, it was only a week until our pictures. I contacted Sport Kilt and they were absolutely amazing. Great customer service! They rushed production of our family kilt in a toddler size and made sure I got it in time. I can’t thank them enough! The kit was well made (like all their products are) and I know it will look great on my son once he gets a little bigger. The toddler kilt fit perfectly at his current size.
