Women’s Hiking Kilt – Pacific Blue

Waist Size *

Using a measuring tape, wrap it around your waist where you'd like the top of your kilt to sit. Don't hold in your stomach!. Usually this measurement is larger than the waist-size of your pants. You might consider giving yourself an extra inch, or so, for comfort. That will be the ideal waist measurement to order.

Please Note: We cannot accept returns or exchanges on any custom made garment. Measure carefully!

Buckle Closure ($18)

You can add two 1" wide black leather straps and nickle-plated buckles to the opening end of your Sport Kilt. A functional, traditional looking adjustable double strap.  You can also choose a Nylon Buckle Strap option as well.

While all Sport Kilts are secured with Velcro at the waistband, you can give your kilt that custom look (and added security) by adding buckles and straps.

Leather Buckle Straps (above) Nylon Buckle Straps (below)

Pockets ($20)

Now you can have us add 2 hidden side pockets to your Sport Kilt. You won’t even know they’re there unless you’re looking for them, or you’ve got your hands in your pockets.

A great custom option for those that have to have pockets on their kilts!

Please allow us a couple of days to customize your kilt with pockets before your order ships.

I am in love with my hiking kilt! If you are at all considering purchasing one, do it! I do highly recommend adding the pockets. The added pockets are a game changer – they are plenty big – much larger than many other women’s pockets in other clothing (if you are lucky enough to find women’s fitness clothing with pockets at all). In my opinion, the buckles are not needed. There is plenty of velcro for a secure closure – and I think they would be uncomfortable with a pack that has a hip belt. I would love to see more tartan patterns in the future for the hiking kilt 🙂

lightweight and wears well- FOR MEN TOO
I like my kilts above the knee- because I have nice legs. Rather than pay for the custom length in a mens kilt, I order their womens kilt in a shorter length. Women love to comment and approach men in kilts. The pockets in this is well worth the upgrade!

    It’s just ok!
Not as great as I expected. The description was not as clear as I would have liked. I paid extra for pockets, because there was no mention of a pocket. There is a Pocket! The Velcro was net sewn down very well and when I tried the kilt on the first time, the Velcro came half way off. I am not impressed with the Velcro as closures either. The hooks should have been sewn on the flap versus the wrap. This will mess up your clothes in the washer too. It is a good thing I can sew. I really am not too pleased with the quality of these kilts. We bought them for a group trip to the Scotland games in Canada and hiking trips.

Great size and length for Men too
Enjoy wearing my women’s Sport Kilt Hiking Kilt. It is a neat design with a wrap with velcro waist, traditional pleated kilt. Size XL with 18″ hem weighs 320 g (11.3 oz). Customized mine with pockets, belt loops, and sewn in pleats. The pockets easily hold an iPhone 7. Comfortable to wear all day. Also have a 16″ hem length which is even better for hiking and exercise walking. Glad it is a skirt design, where I get to choose what to wear underneath. Velcro waist patches are large enough to ensure firm closure. Ordered Pacific Blue color, which looks good after several washes. Material seems durable. Sizing is same for men and women, except for length. Comfortable with backpack hip belt. Recommend for wear anywhere, on or off trail. It is heavier than my favorite walking skirts/kilts (175 g), but the style is more “acceptable” for men when off the trail.

    Great kilt
Cute kilt and looks as described. I got the standard length (18 in I believe) and it is a little longer on than I wanted – I wanted it for runs. It would be good for hiking though.
