All Ireland Works Kilt
The All Ireland Works Kilt takes everything people love about the Original Sport Kilt and adds three of our most popular custom upgrades right from the start: sewn-down pleats, leather buckle straps, and a fringed front panel edge.
Made from the same comfortable Sport Kilt poly-blend fabric, the Works Kilt is lightweight, non-wool, and designed with excellent swing and drape. The fabric holds a crisp pleat well without the itch of traditional wool, making it a practical choice for festivals, Highland games, weddings, performances, and everyday wear.
The waistband combines our original Velcro closure with built-in elastic, giving you a secure fit with just enough flexibility for added comfort throughout the day. The sewn-down pleats create a cleaner, more tailored profile, while the leather buckle straps and fringed front edge add a more traditional, finished look.
Each Works Kilt also includes a convenient 5″ x 6″ hidden stash pocket located behind the front panel.
Because the Works Kilt includes custom finishing, please allow approximately 3–5 days for production, in addition to shipping time. Kilts ordered in longer-than-standard lengths are made from scratch and may require approximately 2–3 weeks to complete.
Care Instructions
You can machine wash your kilt with similar colors on cold; tumble dry on low or hang to dry. For the sharpest pleats, press with an iron on 75% heat setting.
Please Note: If your kilt has leather buckle straps, we recommend dry cleaning as the leather will dry out with machine washing/drying.

The Perfect Fit
Finding your waist size
Using a measuring tape, wrap it around your waist where you’d like the top of your kilt to sit. Don’t hold in your stomach. This measurement is usually 2″ larger than the size of your pants. You might consider giving yourself an extra inch, or so, for comfort. Take your waist measurement (in actual inches) and see where it falls in our size grid below.
Finding your length
The ideal kilt length for you: While kneeling, measure from the top of your waist (where you’d wear your kilt) to the floor. Some say your kilt should just brush against the ground when you are kneeling. Of course personal preference is the rule! Have it YOUR way.
