**Men's Medium Waist Tip: If you are taller than 5'9", you want to get the Medium-Long size.  If you are 5'9" or shorter, the Medium will be fine.

Sewn-Down Pleats

All Sport Kilts are pleated, but you can give your kilt that custom fitted shape with a leaner profile by having us sew down the pleats.

The first 4-5 inches of pleats (measured from the waistband) are sewn down along the knife edge of the pleat (vertically). This provides a more refined look and makes for easier care and pressing.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept returns for customized goods, i.e., belt loops, sewn pleats, custom length. Please make sure of your measurements!

Buckle Closures

You can add two 1" wide black leather straps and nickle-plated buckles to the opening end of your Sport Kilt. A functional, traditional looking adjustable double strap.  You can also choose a Nylon Buckle Strap option as well. 

While all Sport Kilts are secured with Velcro at the waistband, you can give your kilt that custom look (and added security) by adding buckles and straps.

Also note: If you opt for the Buckles and straps, we HIGHLY recommend adding the sewn-down-pleats option as they compliment each other.

Belt Loops

Although you don't need a belt to hold up your kilt, we'll be glad to add 'em so you can wear your favorite belt.

Belt loops can also be used to thread your sporran "chain-belt" through. This is the traditional use of belt loops on a kilt.

Pockets

Now you can have us add 2 hidden side pockets to your Sport Kilt. You won’t even know they’re there unless you’re looking for them, or you’ve got your hands in your pockets.

A great custom option for those that have to have pockets on their kilts!

Please allow us a couple of days to customize your kilt with pockets before your order ships.

Fringe

Now you can have the opening side of your Sport Kilt fringed for extra flair!

Custom Length

Use a measuring tape, instead of using your pant size. This will determine your waist measurement.

The ideal kilt length: While kneeling, measure from the top of your waist (where you'd wear your kilt) to the floor. Some say your kilt should just brush against the ground when you are kneeling. Of course personal preference is the rule! Have it YOUR way.

Note:  Ultimate and Commando kilts tend to sit higher on the waist (more like a traditional kilt) than our standrard Sport Kilts. Therefore, you may want to add an extra inch or two in length to compensate. If in doubt, be assured that ninety five percent of the time, our standard size Medium-long, large, XL, abd XXL length of 22.5 inches will fit most guys 5' 10" and 6' 2" tall.

Description

The Wallace Hunting tartan comes to mind when one thinks of quintessential Scottish tartans.  this green version of the Wallace tartan is more suitable to blending in with the hillsides, hence the “hunting” moniker.

    Amazingly comfortable
    I bought this kilt to compete in Highland games, as wearing a kilt is one of the few requirements. I was amazed at how comfortable and durable this product was/is! It held up through all the rounds of my highland games and looks brand new still. Excellent purchase and when I need another one, because I might just need a few to hang around in, I will come back to Sport Kilt.

    I bought this as a second kilt. My first kilt is a family heirloom. I wanted a kilt that I could “wear out” more often and this kilt really fits the bill. I’m eager to try hiking in it, and maybe even playing some tennis!

    Total eclipse
    I wore my kilt to watch the Aug. 21 eclipse in Casper Wyoming. Saw an awesome total eclipse and experienced a 13 hour drive home in bumper to bumper traffic.

    Great Quality
    My son and I wore our Sport Kilts in Wallace Hunting during an 80 mile hiking trek in New Mexico. The kilts were cool in the heat of the day but warm in the evening hours. Thes held up great and after a wash were as good as new.

    Go DUCKS!!
    I hope the Wallace Clan doesn’t mind me using their tartan. This was a huge hit at the game and I know there was a lot of envy from other U of O fans and even a bit from OSU fans. I received many, many compliments from everyone. The Kilt is fantastically made, drapes great and is very comfortable, albiet a little nippy when the tempreture is in the 20’s. Thanks again you guys!!

    Very nice for the price
    I really like my sport kilt. I have a hand sewn kilt that is VERY nice but at a replacement cost of over $400, I feel hesitant to wear it out to anything but formal events. I got the Sportkilt to be able to where out more. Well it looks great has a nice swing to it and had many complements on it at Turkey Day. I do wish I would have gotten a size bigger but this is just motivation to get in shape. My only complaint is that I got a pair of Guilles and they bled black stuff all over everything when they got wet!!!

    Very Comfortable Kilt
    Thouroughly satisfied with the kilt I received. Well made and very comfortable. I have a formal kilt in Wallace Red but wanted something for casual wear(ie attending highland games, hiking, etc.). This sport kilt in Wallace hunting will fit the bill. I intend to wear a kilt more often now that I own this beauty!!!

    Im so glad that I got this Kilt, it was used to make a point but has turned into something that I injoy wearing. I get so many comments on it, that it is unreal.
