Dark Island Flashes

Description

The Dark Island tartan is woven in Scotland by House of Edgar, and lately it has taken on a new meaning.  Fellow highland athletes have rallied their support for one of their fallen comrades, and dedicated this limited run of flashes in memory of John Johnston.

No man is an island, even though it may seem that way sometimes, and there is a way off your own personal “dark Island” with help from friends, family, and those professionals who make mental health their life’s work.

Note: the picture doesn’t do this tartan justice, it looks solid black in low light, but when taken out into the sunlight, the two shades of black are visible, and the tartan appears.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention.
