Description
A striking day sporran made from top grain leather. The top flap uses a snap-style closure and is embossed with Celtic knotwork in the theme of the Scottish Thistle. The front is adorned with white calf skin, which features three tassels.
Historical note; As time went on, the sporrans became even fancier and by the late 1800’s the sporran mulch, or hair sporran, appeared — made of animal skins such as otter, badger, goat and seal. In Victorian times the sporrans got so huge and fancy that they almost covered the front of the kilt. [a little over the top, but still impressive, eh?]
All sporrans come with leather and metal chain belt.

Looks Great
This is a quality Sporran. Looks great and the clasp works very well. In the past I have had Sporrans that just would not stay latched.

comforable and looks great
Bought this as the finishing touch for my wedding outfit, only problem is it is a little difficult to close while wearing.

Sporran review
I was MOST IMPRESSED with the quality and value for the money of this sporran. I chose the Semi-formal for all around versatility. Exceptionally nice quality. Very pleased.
