Traditional kilt styling made with modern materials, for kids to experience wearing a kilt and have fun!

TARTAN *

Sewn Down Pleats

You can have us tack the pleats down the first 5″ vertically, to give the kilt a more formal look. Also makes the kilt easier to care for, since the pleats never lose their knife edge up around the top of the backside.

Fringe

Now you can have the opening side of your Sport Kilt fringed for extra flair! We add an extra panel of tartan, sew it on, and comb it out to match the tartan on the kilt.

Buckle Closure

You can add two 1" wide black leather straps and nickle-plated buckles to the opening end of your Sport Kilt. A functional, traditional looking adjustable double strap.

While all Sport Kilts are secured with Velcro at the waistband, you can give your kilt that custom look (and added security) by adding buckles and straps.

Also note: If you opt for the Buckles and straps, we HIGHLY recommend adding the sewn-down-pleats option as they compliment each other.

Also, it is best to hand wash (or dry clean) your kilt with leather straps.

Important: We cannot accept returns for customized goods, i.e., belt loops, sewn-down pleats, custom length, fringe, or buckles. Please be precise with measurements!

Now you can have us add 2 hidden side pockets to your Sport Kilt. You won't even know they're there unless you're looking for them, or you've got your hands in your pockets.

A great custom option for those that have to have pockets on their kilts!

Description

A kilt for kids as young as 6 or 7, up to around age 9 or 10.  Traditional kilt styling with a flat front, and pleats all around the backside.  Available in 70+ tartans!

Perfect for kids that have outgrown the youth size, but not ready for the adult small.  Measures 16″ long, and fits waist sizes 26-31″

Features a Velcro closure for easy on and off, elastic in the waistband for kids to grow into.  Machine washable so kids can have messy fun in their kilts.  .

You can add custom features like Leather Buckle Straps, Sewn Down Pleats, Belt Loops, Fringe, and even Pockets.

Delivery: We try to keep these in stock in all the tartans we carry, but in case they aren’t please allow up to 3-5 business days for us to make your Young Lad/Lass size Sport Kilt.
