A Dress sporran of soft white rabbit-fur. The opening is a highly polished silver-tone metal and the piece is enhanced with three decorative metal tassels.
A functional sporran guaranteed to set you apart from the crowd, also looks great at formal occasions.
Historical note; as time went on, sporrans became even fancier and by the late 1800's the sporran molach, or hair sporran, appeared made of animal skins such as otter, badger, goat and seal.
In Victorian times the sporrans got so huge and fancy that they almost covered the front of the kilt!
All sporrans come with a leather and metal chain belt.
White Dress Sporran
I needed a formal dress sporran on short notice. Ones I had seen at Highland games were $200-$300 and I had been reluctant to spend that much.
I contacted Sport Kilt and purchased the White Fur Dress Sporran, with shipping for under $100 and it’s identical to the ones costing hundreds more. I love it, and will check with Sport Kilt whenever I need Kilt accoutrements.
It came quickly and I am very satisfied.
Great Dress Sporran
Very Pleased with the sporran for the most reasonable price that I could find on the net. It looks great, but hangs just a little bit long(low) for the skinnier guys. The only suggestions is a slightly more adjustable belt for the sporran.
