Description
The tartan earasaid (arasaid in English) is like a small Great-Kilt for women. It is pleated lengthwise on the floor, a belt is placed underneath the material, you lie down on top of the material, and fasten the belt.
You have the option to have us add two fringe panels to both ends.

Great and versatile…but not the whole nine yards.
If you are a full figured gal, like me, this may not act like an earasaid. It is not the whole 9 yards. If you are a smaller gal, this will work fine. Us plus sized gals will find it useful, but perhaps not in the style in the video. It is easy to pleat and put on with a belt.

Scottish Toga!
I bought this for my wife, but when asked to perform as a mysterious character in a stage performance, one of my layers beneath my hooded cloak was the Blackwatch earasaid like a toga. I draped the lot over my left shoulder, brought up the ends from front and back over the right shoulder and wove them in opposite directions (backside through first then front over back) through the celtic brooch. It was quite stylish! I have a photo if requested.

Great Plaid
I wore my earasaid to the Texas Renaissance Festival this past weekend. My husband thought the whole outfit was sexy. I definitely got quite a few compliments on the plaid and 2 different kilt suppliers recognized the clan colors. I really liked being able to wear the excess material over my shoulder during the warm day, but as a cape around my shoulders as it got colder that night.
