Belt Loops

Although you don’t need a belt to hold up your kilt, we’ll be glad to add ’em so you can wear your favorite belt.

Belt loops can also be used to thread your sporran "chain-belt" through. This is the traditional use of belt loops on a kilt.

Please note: We cannot accept returns for customized goods, i.e., belt loops, sewn pleats, custom length. Please measure carefully!

Fringe

Now you can have the opening side of your Sport Kilt fringed for extra flair!

Sewn-Down Pleats

All Sport Kilts are pleated, but you can give your kilt that custom fitted shape with a leaner profile by having us sew down the pleats.

The first 4-5 inches of pleats (measured from the waistband) are sewn down along the knife edge of the pleat (vertically). This provides a more refined look and makes for easier care and pressing.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept returns for customized goods, i.e., belt loops, sewn pleats, custom length. Please make sure of your measurements!

Buckle Closure

You can add two 1″ wide black leather straps and nickle-plated buckles to the opening end of your Sport Kilt. A functional, traditional looking adjustable double strap.

While all Sport Kilts are secured with Velcro at the waistband, you can give your kilt that custom look (and added security) by adding buckles and straps.

Also note: If you opt for the Buckles and straps, we HIGHLY recommend adding the sewn-down-pleats option as they compliment each other.

Also, it is best to hand wash (or dry clean) your kilt with leather straps.

Pockets

Now you can have us add 2 hidden side pockets to your Sport Kilt. You won’t even know they’re there unless you’re looking for them, or you’ve got your hands in your pockets.

A great custom option for those that have to have pockets on their kilts!

Description

Women’s Sport Kilt

A Sport Kilt for women with an 18″ length, made from the same great 8oz poly-blend material.

Available in 4 sizes, Small 1-4, Medium 4-8, Large 9-14, and XL 14-22.

This kilt has pleats all around the back and sides, with a flat front panel, or apron, in the front, as well as a small inside “stash” pocket.    Each is a wrap-around style kilt that comes with a secure velcro closure, and elastic in the waistband for comfort and fit.

You can also add custom options to your kilt to make it unique, like having the sewn-down pleats (we highly recommend this option), belt loops, fringe on the opening side, and even buckle strap closures for a custom one-of-a-kind look.

Size note: small fits 24-30″ waists, medium is for 27-33″ large is for 34-38″ waists and XL fits 39-46″ waist sizes.

    Great kilt!
    I bought this kilt for our annual Celtic Festival here in town, and it arrived much quickly than I had expected! At the time I ordered it, I only knew of Irish heritage that I had, so I wanted to get this tartan to represent that (though I found out later that I actually do also have Scottish and Welsh heritage as well). This kilt was so comfy out in the heat, and though I was asked about the tartan by several people, I got a lot of compliments on it! I ended up ordering a size too large by mistake (thinking it would be fine), but it makes me glad that I also got belt loops on this one, so it wasn’t that much of an issue. Definitely a keeper!

    Love my Kilt!
    I ordered the All Ireland with pockets and sewn down pleats. It fits perfect and I love having pockets. The print looks a lot different from the picture but I still love it. The Velcro is perfect, super secure for throwing cabers!

    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!
    This is a beautiful kilt! Beautiful, weighty fabric that is perfectly made!! I ordered mine with the buckles (which added a nice touch) but the waist is Velcro, so it stays in place and can be adjusted! My ONLY issue…the Velcro adds a bit of stiffness/bulk to the waist.

    The kilt is great, but when ordering the ladies size, it’s always a crapshoot! The original order came in a little too small and there was too much velcro showing- I called in and inquired about a return and the answer was- “sure, no problem” I shipped the original order back and received the new sport kilt in less than two weeks! Great Job! Satisfied customer!
