Description

Remember The Fallen Hiking Kilt

Designed by Joe McDonough, and chosen as the winner of the 2021 Sport Kilt tartan design contest.

Officially registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans, on May 11, 2021.  The tartan was inspired by the brave people who work on the front line, and the design and colors are intended to represent and honor all military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders who have lost their lives.

Made from a special brushed microfiber material, similar to boardshorts or swim-trunks, this material packs down small, dries quickly, and is lightweight for maximum mobility.  This particular model has a flat tone (no sheen) due to the brushed nature of this slightly heavier hiking kilt material than we’ve use in the past.

Cool, quick drying, breathable, lightweight microfiber kilt for the active kilt enthusiast who wants to trek in ultimate comfort and style.

Hiking Kilt Standard Features Include: 22 1/2″ length, Sewn-down-pleats, Velcro closure with a touch of elastic in the waistband for comfort and adjustability.

Made to order, please allow 2-4 weeks for us to cut and sew each kilt from scratch, by hand, to your size.  Limited edition.

I live in Reno, NV and therefore hike in the high desert. Find the kilt perfect on hot days. Will take it with me in August when we backpack the last portion we have to complete the John Muir Trail.
