I feel like a Chief
Purchased the ruana to go with my kilt, and clan badge pin. Its warm, comfortable and I’m so proud to wear it. Well worth the price!
Kat The Strongwoman –
I haven’t received it yet, but I know I’ll be thrilled. Bought a tartan ruana to show my pride and wear to my next Highland Games, counting down the days until it comes in!!!
Sir Hex Nottingham –
Looking tough! As the Priest in a coronation ceremony at our local Beltane Festival, I wanted to add more to my outfit than my standard fly. After kilting up, I put the ruana over my shoulders, brought the left side across the front and pinned the end of it to the other side. This should be done by leaving enough slack to use as a hood. The rest hangs as kind of an unorthodox cape, which adds an appealing un-symmetry. This gives that rogue-ish quality seen in some Star Wars costumes like Starkiller, Klyo Ren and Jyn Erso; the hood with the short off set cape. You know, kind of… off KILTer.
very versatile plaid
Nice size and can be reconfigured for many uses.
