Fraser

The official Fraser clan tartan! This is the modern hunting version of this centuries old clan. A member of the Fraser family‚ Sir Simon‚ known as “The Scottish Patriot” fought alongside William Wallace and defeated an English army at Roslin during the Scottish Wars of Independence.  He was bestowed the three crowns of bravery after saving the Scottish King’s life on three separate occasions.

Later‚ Sir Alexander Fraser married the sister of King Robert the Bruce.

Many Frasers settled in North America and fought French and English rule in the 18th century, helping secure independence for the USA and Canada.  Clan Fraser influence has spread the world over, with both Australia and New Zealand having had a prime minister named Fraser in recent times.  The motto “I Am Ready” means a Fraser is always prepared to lead.
